Narrows 13U Wins GSL Our Sisters House Tournament Championship

The Narrows 13U completed an impressive run in the GSL Our Sisters House tournament. The boys picked up where they left off from their 12U season claiming another tournament win. Led by long time Narrows Head Coach Rich Benedict and new Assistant Coach Peter King, the team went 4-0 over the weekend with four shutout victories and surrendering only a single hit across all four games. They outscored their opponents 45-0.

Numerous players contributed to the tournament win. Chase Attebery led the team with 8 hits (3 doubles) and 10 RBI's on the weekend. Kainoah Leckenby had an impressive start in his first Narrows games, scoring 9 runs and adding 6 hits (2 doubles) and 7 RBI's.

Six pitchers combined to allow only a single hit and no runs all weekend. Sawyer Payne and Peyton Beam combined for a no-hitter in game 1 and River Urvina and Chase Attebery followed up in game 2 with another combined no hitter. Will Tippery threw a complete game shutout in the semifinal game and was followed by Daniel Sleeter who no-hit the UP Vikings in the Championship game.

Congrats to Jack Reanier and Chase Attebery on being named co-MVPs of the tournament!
