Narrows Baseball Club offers a high level of coaching to it's players, with former Professional players, former Division 1 players, and current and former professional scouts serving as coaches and instructors. The club takes pride in teaching the game the "right way", with an emphasis on teaching sound fundamentals, developing players on-field anticipation and awareness , and emphasizing high character teammates on and off the field. Our coaches take pride in how their teams conduct themselves and reflect the principles of the Narrows Baseball Club.
Jon Fuller

Jon is an original founding member of Narrows. He played professional baseball (catcher) in the Cincinnati Reds organization after being drafted out of Bellevue College. Jon was also a standout player at Peninsula High School. Jon owns and operates the Gig Harbor Baseball and Sports Academy.

Rich is an original founding member of Narrows. Rich has been coaching baseball in some capacity for over 30 years with an emphasis on infield instruction. Rich typically coaches the 13U or 14U teams.

James played 10 years of professional baseball (catcher, corner infielder) after being drafted by the Seattle Mariners in 1990. James also played professional baseball in Japan. Currently, James is the head regional scout in the Northwest region for the Tampa Bay Rays.

Coach Atkinson has been coaching baseball in the Seattle area for the 24 years. He has coached summer baseball with the Seattle Baseball Academy, the Federal Way Knights, and this is his fourth year with Narrows Baseball Club.He is a retired air traffic controller who resides in Port Orchard with Joni, his wife of 42 years (and counting).

Ben is in his 6th year coaching with Narrows, previously coaching the 10U-12U teams and recently as the 18U Premier Assistant Coach. He grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and has two boys currently playing in the program. He is also an Assistant Coach for the Varsity team at Peninsula High School.
Riley Palmer

'RP' is a former player within the Baltimore Orioles organization before coming to Narrows. Riley has coached the 13U, 14U and 16U teams in previous years. RP also runs and coordinates the Narrows speed and agility program in the offseason.

'C-Mac' came up through the Narrows organization as a player prior to playing college ball at Tacoma Community College and then at Division 1 South Carolina Upstate. Cam returns to Narrows as a head coach.

Scott played professional baseball in the Arizona Diamondbacks organization before returning to help coach pitchers at Narrows. Scott has also served as the assistant coach for the 18U Premier team.

Lucas currently plays professional baseball within the Washington Nationals organization. In the offseason, he runs pitching workouts for all Narrows teams.

Heath was a former pitcher at Washington State and will be the in-season pitching coach for the 15-18U teams.

Curt has been an assistant coach with Narrows for the past four seasons. He will be working with pitchers on the 10-14U teams during the season.
