James played 10 years of professional baseball (catcher, corner infielder) after being drafted by the Seattle Mariners in 1990. James also played professional baseball in Japan. Currently, James is the head regional scout in the Northwest region for the Tampa Bay Rays.

About Narrows 18U Elite
The 18U Elite team is essentially a 17U team which plays an 18U schedule. The team plays in the Seattle Elite League 18U division and competes in tournaments at the 18U level. The team provides an opportunity to high school freshmen through juniors to compete at the 18U level in preperation for playing on our 18U Premier team.
